3. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use cookies or local storage for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking. Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary technologies to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The contact form uses a bot-protection check from that provider, which issues a short-lived token to confirm the submission is not automated.

Most browsers let you control cookies and local storage through their settings. Disabling them may affect how parts of the website function.

5. Legal bases for processing

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); the performance of a contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract; our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with our legal obligations.

6. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to run our business and provide our services, including with: service providers and sub-processors who act on our behalf, such as website hosting, the customer-relationship management system that receives our contact form submissions, our scheduling provider, and email delivery; professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants where necessary; and authorities or other parties where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cod3Labs, our clients, or others.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide our services, maintain business records, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you; to object to or restrict certain processing; to request portability of your information; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@cod3labs.com. We will respond as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
